About The Position

The Area Maintenance Specialist will perform various maintenance tasks as directed by the District Manager. Responsibilities may include the tasks listed below, with additional duties assigned as needed. Opportunities for skill development and expanded responsibilities are available through training. Requirements

  • Strong foundation in general maintenance, mechanics, and repair work.
  • Effective communication with customers, management, and team members.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing and walking for extended periods, reaching overhead, bending, kneeling, and squatting comfortably.
  • Ability to lift, carry, pull, or push items weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders safely.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on fuel-related equipment, including dispensers, air stations, fuel filters, nozzles, hoses, breakaways, splash guards, and chucks.
  • Perform general repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, base trim, interior and exterior painting, pothole patching, sanding, patching, restroom and service door maintenance, touch-ups, caulking, and signage replacement/installation.
  • Conduct basic plumbing maintenance, including faucet and filter maintenance.
  • Perform outdoor maintenance tasks such as basic landscaping, mulch application, bollard pole maintenance, bike racks, fence and gate repairs, perimeter light poles, power washing, and air hose hangers.
  • Maintain and repair hardware and fixtures, including door handles, locks, closers, shelving.
  • Perform basic compressor maintenance, glove/sanitizer dispenser upkeep, traffic signage, marketing component installation, floor drains, island maintenance, and miscellaneous upkeep as assigned.
