Requirements

  • Minimum 20 years' experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical maintenance – High School.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical maintenance – Diploma.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical maintenance – Bachelor Degree.
  • Saudi National.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent (Diploma with significant relevant experience may be considered).
  • Mandatory maintenance experience in Aromatics/Derivatives units such as PX (Paraxylene), Benzene, Cumene, Cyclohexane, Styrene, Phenol, Acetone, PTA, or related derivative plants. Candidates with only refinery or utility experience will not be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, static equipment, fired heaters, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, piping systems, and associated maintenance best practices.
  • Proven experience managing maintenance contracts, plant turnarounds, shutdowns, reliability programs, and CMMS.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to achieve business results while working in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all maintenance activities for the Aromatics (Derivatives) Area, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation in accordance with Company standards.
  • Execute and oversee mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment maintenance for Aromatics/Derivatives process units.
  • Ensure timely execution and reporting of maintenance activities through the CMMS system.
  • Support Planning & Scheduling and Reliability teams in maintenance optimization, bad actor analysis, and equipment reliability improvement.
  • Lead maintenance execution during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major equipment overhauls.
  • Manage day-to-day maintenance teams and contractors while ensuring strict compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
  • Prepare weekly maintenance performance reports and participate in maintenance review meetings.
  • Develop maintenance personnel through technical coaching and job-specific training in coordination with HR.
