About The Position

The Area Director of Clinical Operations & Engagement (ADCOE) functions as the manager of Advanced Practice Clinicians in an assigned territory. This position oversees clinical care for a localized population of patients and provides direct management of the clinical members of that care team. Core functions are to enhance the performance of the entire team through facilitating the work of the various members in the areas of clinical performance and quality, patient satisfaction, compliance with Eventus clinical protocols, processes and procedures, and achievement of productivity expectations as measured by patients receiving needed services. This position serves as the main point of contact for client facilities as a liaison between the facility and Eventus.

Requirements

  • Clinical Masters or Doctoral Degree
  • National certification for area of specialty
  • Current professional licensure in area of specialty within the state of practice
  • Previous long-term care experience required

Responsibilities

  • Foster an engaging culture among teammates and reports.
  • Ensure team cohesion through communication, setting expectations, and leading regular team meetings.
  • Regularly review and audit documentation and coding of all care team members to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Receive and analyze clinical quality data and clinician productivity reports; reacting and counseling team members, as needed, to maintain standards.
  • Act as clinical and workflow expert for providers within the team and help facilitate the resolution of clinical inquiries from providers, facility personnel, and family members.
  • Regularly visit on site with care team members to observe and optimize clinical skills and workflow.
  • Work to assign providers to facilities/patients to be sure that all services are covered for each building based on those contracted.
  • Manages the coverage of facilities in times of vacancies and communicates collaboratively with the facility on coverage, taking into consideration the specific needs for each facility.
  • Maintain an active knowledge of leadership at all team facilities, be available to work and resolve any concerns facilities may have and provide timely communication to the facility.
  • Work with recruitment and HR on selection and hiring process for new employees; ensure effective onboarding and training for newly hired staff.
  • Provide frequent and timely performance feedback to reports.
  • May provide coverage to other geographic locations as needed; may also assist with the initial training and onboarding of new ADCOEs.
