About The Position

Iron Oak Management LLC seeks an Area Coordinator in Kermit, TX to coordinate and lead operational, quality, process, and maintenance activities related to a specific production area of the plant. This role involves planning and scheduling maintenance, evaluating production KPIs, leading root cause analysis for downtime, reviewing quality specifications, performing inspections, and prioritizing work orders. The Area Coordinator will also lead repairs and preventive maintenance of heavy industrial machinery, analyze equipment performance, and serve as a liaison between maintenance and production teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent
  • 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering related job titles
  • 3 years of experience with Process Improvement; focus on yield improvements properly sizing screens to gradations as well as VFD programming to tune process and optimize outputs
  • 3 years of experience with Production planning, optimization, and equipment efficiency and evaluation of production of KPIs
  • 3 years of experience with Preventive, predictive and corrective heavy equipment maintenance
  • 3 years of experience with HMI Managing adjustments and requirements for Ignition Operating System and Production/Process reporting
  • 3 years of experience with Automation troubleshooting, programming and optimization for efficiency in the process which includes tuning of PID controllers managing downtime reports, updating Pareto charts, and performing root cause analysis

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead operational, quality, process, and maintenance activities related to a specific production area of the plant.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Maintain equipment history and evaluate production KPIs.
  • Lead root cause analysis, reporting and analyzing area downtime.
  • Review quality specifications of the inputs and outputs of the designated plant area.
  • Perform daily walk-by inspections of the assigned area, creating work orders, and prioritizing work orders.
  • Lead repairs and preventive maintenance of heavy industrial machinery and equipment at the mine site.
  • Analyze the daily performance of key equipment.
  • Serve as a liaison between maintenance and production to prioritize and coordinate work.
  • Periodical reporting of low-rate cause and developing plans to resolve issues.
