Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Area Construction Manager to oversee multiple multifamily construction projects across the North Bay. This role is responsible for construction execution, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance, while working closely with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and local agencies.

Requirements

  • At least five years of construction project management or field leadership experience, with multifamily construction.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and construction documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality goals.
  • Leads field and project teams.
  • Oversees all phases of construction from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Manages schedules using Microsoft Project, and maintaining critical path timelines.
  • Owns project budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Coordinates subcontractors, materials, and logistics to prevent delays.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations through regular job site oversight and quality control.
  • Serves as a key point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Supports contract and invoice review.
  • Provides regular reporting on project progress, budgets, and risks.
