About The Position

Integral Diagnostics (IDX) is seeking an Area Chief to provide leadership across their newly renovated Frankston and Somerville clinics. This new leadership position will play a key role in shaping the future of services by overseeing the daily operational performance of both sites. The Area Chief will ensure adequate staffing and resources to maximize efficiency, patient throughput, and service delivery across all imaging modalities. This role involves working closely with Radiologists, technical, clerical, and nursing teams to ensure seamless operations, maintain high standards of patient care and safety, and foster a positive team culture and effective collaboration. The Area Chief will also ensure teams are informed of and compliant with practice policies, operational procedures, billing updates, and system enhancements. High-level communication with internal and external stakeholders, including management, referring doctors, and equipment vendors, is essential for addressing operational challenges and supporting strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Demonstrated team leadership skills, with a willingness to be part of, and manage a professional imaging team.
• Currently registered with AHPRA.
• Knowledge of and adherence to regulation and statutory guidelines.
• Strong communicator with the ability to teach, mentor and give constructive feedback.
• Approachable, supportive, and patient-focused.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, learning and a positive team culture.

Responsibilities
