Area Capital Sales Director, East Precision IO NeuWave Medical pioneers microwave ablation technologies that help physicians treat soft-tissue lesions with precision. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8 to 10 years’ experience in capital sales, marketing, professional education or sales learning and development is required
  • Demonstrated leadership capability including the ability to lead and manage through change and strong leadership behaviors
  • Track record of success working within a matrix organizational environment and enterprise mindset decision making
  • Excellent understanding of Customer, Business Intelligence and Industry trends
  • Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and project management along with documented sales achievement(s) are required
  • Strong Business & Financial Acumen in understanding the needs and priorities of the broader business with a penchant for understanding the use of metrics/numbers to gauge overall performance.
  • Demonstrated track record as a talent champion in coaching, developing, retention, acquiring and building a diverse pipeline of future talent
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills; including communicating, influence, and solution-oriented collaboration

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or equivalent preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with robotics strongly preferred
  • Experience across at least two functional areas (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Professional Education, Sales Learning etc.) preferred
  • 4 - 6 years of people management experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional capital strategy to drive adoption and growth of PIO’s platforms, managing a high-accuracy pipeline and leading complex ($500K+) sales cycles.
  • Leverage the dual robotics + ablation portfolio to tailor entry points and expand opportunities across IO and IR accounts.
  • Ensure successful clinical adoption and sustained utilization by partnering with physicians and aligning robotic and ablation technologies into practice.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to expand within existing accounts and convert new opportunities.
  • Operate as the “tip of the spear” in capital sales, orchestrating a cross-functional team of Territory Managers, Clinical Specialists, and Strategic Account Managers to drive deal success.
  • Partner closely with field leadership through joint calls and real-time coaching.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing capital sales organization while building leadership bench strength and driving a culture of accountability and execution.
  • Coach teams to navigate complex health systems and deliver consistent results.
  • Build and leverage a network of Key Opinion Leaders to drive adoption, clinical validation, and market momentum.
  • Partner with early adopters to shape the future of IO and expand use cases.
  • Deliver compelling, ROI-driven business cases to C-suite stakeholders, positioning PIO as a strategic partner across the full procedural workflow.
  • Navigate reimbursement, health economics, and capital justification to advance deals.
  • Maintain deep expertise in the competitive landscape and evolving IO market, translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Continuously refine positioning to reinforce PIO’s differentiated value.
