Position Summary: Responsible for achieving sales and installed base management goals for Werfen products within assigned geographic territory. Directs management responsibility of area expense budget and all assigned Werfen equipment. Responsible for managing the P&L for assigned area. Direct management responsibility for sales and technical staff within the Area. Provides market intelligence and sales forecasts for the Area.

Requirements

  • BS in Science or Business or related field
  • A minimum of five years business or related experience with previous management responsibility
  • Proficient computer skills: including Word, Excel, SAP
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Planning, Organizational Positioning Skills, Building Effective Teams, Managing and Measuring Work, Action Oriented
  • International Mobility Required: Yes
  • Extensive travel

Responsibilities

  • Recruits, hires and trains account managers and technical sales representatives in a given geographic territory.
  • Plans and organizes the work of the employees and monitors activities and productivity.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to staff under his/her direction.
  • Implements sales plans, deploys field staff in order to optimize Werfen business-maintenance and growth.
  • Manages and controls the cost of sales within the Area.
  • Prepares forecasts and other monthly reports as required by headquarters.
  • Negotiates with key accounts in the area and promotes Werfen products and services.
  • Plans and coordinates trade shows and sales meetings for the area, and provides coverage from the group at national shows.
  • Performs other duties as the position requires and as directed by the VP of Sales.
  • Responsible for management and sales to key integrated delivery networks
