About The Position

The Area Branch Operations Manager (ABOM) assists the District Manager (DM) by supporting efforts to improve the safety, profitability, effectiveness, accuracy, and efficiency of the Area Branch operations and logistics. The ABOM shares accountability for the overall thriving of the operating branches within the identified district. ABOMs provide analytics, evaluation, and reporting of Branch metrics and pricing initiatives. This role involves leading and supporting a team of Branch Managers, and collaborating closely with them to contribute to Area and Regional milestones.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
An undergraduate degree in a relatable field
Around five years of steady growth and advancement in-branch retail sales or branch/production operations.
Two to five years of experience guiding and nurturing teams through supportive leadership.
Prior experience with sales and/or operations in the distribution industry is welcomed.

Responsibilities

Foster and champion the company's Safety & Security principles and guidelines
Guide and support the team in aligning with Safety & Security rules and guidelines on a regular basis
Recognize and analyze the customers’ needs, expectations and priorities and propose valuable, reliable, and competitive solutions for different sales channels
Formulate sales and promotional strategies to achieve the agreed sales goals and milestones or other objectives.
Lead and empower the sales team, implement sales strategies, and nurture team development and progress.
Build and cultivate key account relationships and establish mutually beneficial agreements with current and potential key account customers.
Design pricing guidelines and strategy to meet sales goals.
