About The Position

IMT Residential is hiring an Area Assistant Community Manager (Area Assistant Property Manager) to work at our California communities throughout our portfolio in San Fernando Valley, Orange County, Long Beach, San Diego, and Northern California. Flexibility is needed for Saturday and Sunday coverage. The Area Assistant Community Manager (Area Assistant Property Manager) assists the Community Manager in ensuring a positive working environment, quality community living, and a high standard of operations to meet IMT’s objectives.

Requirements

  • Multi-family housing experience
  • General knowledge of property bookkeeping and the desire to learn more about financials
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to connect with a variety of people
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
  • The ability to work well in a high volume and sometimes stressful environment
  • The ability to make sound business decisions
  • A positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills
  • Availability to work weekends may be required because that is when many customers and your team may need you
  • Computer skills with MRI experience a plus
  • Active and valid driver license is required

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents and provide outstanding customer service that will build lasting relationships
  • Perform bookkeeping including rent collection, delinquency and move-out statements
  • Lease available apartments
  • Renew existing leases
  • Stay abreast of Fair Housing laws and regulations
  • Conduct market research, project leasing activity, and assist with business outreach marketing, resident functions, and other promotional programs
  • Use MRI software to enter information and pull various reports
  • Additional projects and/​or duties as assigned by Community Manager
