The Area Asia Pacific Sales Specialist is a key partner to the sales team, helping bring strategy to life through flawless execution, strong communication, and a passion for hospitality. You will play an integral role in supporting client experiences, managing critical sales processes, and ensuring our Asia Pacific partners receive exceptional service at every touchpoint. The Area Asia Pacific Sales Specialist plays a critical role in supporting and driving the success of the Asia Pacific Sales Department across all three properties. This position serves as a key operational and administrative partner to the AP Sales team while contributing directly to revenue growth across wholesale, luxury travel advisors, corporate, and group segments. This role is highly collaborative, fast-paced, and detail-oriented—supporting both on-island sales initiatives and acting as a vital liaison to the Japan-based Regional Sales Director. The Specialist will help execute strategic initiatives and strengthen Prince Resorts Hawaii’s presence across Japan, Korea, China, Australia, and New Zealand.

  • Ability to travel for business and attend events or training
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Capable of lifting to 25 lbs. and remaining active throughout the workday

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred
  • Experience supporting sales teams, contracts, or group business is a plus
  • Japanese and/or Korean language skills strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute all aspects of client stays including reservations, dining, amenities, golf, spa, and VIP experiences.
  • Create and distribute detailed VIP alerts to ensure seamless cross-departmental execution.
  • Support and occasionally host site inspections, FAM trips, and client events on Oahu and Hawai‘i Island.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all client inquiries, ensuring exceptional service standards.
  • Assist in the distribution and implementation of wholesale, corporate, and travel advisor contracts.
  • Coordinate with Revenue and Operations teams to ensure accurate system setup (Delphi, CITY, etc.).
  • Process group proposals, contracts, and booking turnover to Catering and Conference Services with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage group blocks, turnover processes, and follow-ups to maximize conversion and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update account databases across wholesale, corporate, and luxury travel segments.
  • Distribute promotions, campaigns, and program updates to key Asia Pacific partners.
  • Support growth initiatives in key international markets through administrative and operational execution.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop presentations, collateral, and client-facing materials (multi-language as needed).
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations to resolve billing issues and client disputes.
  • Support restaurant, spa, golf, airline, credit card and wedding program contracting (including Watabe Wedding partnerships) and client needs.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and departmental documentation in a timely manner.
  • Support monthly reporting, budgeting, and departmental presentations.
  • Assist Japan Regional Sales Director with reporting, materials, and coordination.
