David Wade Correctional Center is seeking a highly organized and trustworthy ARDC Manager to oversee the day to day operation in our Records Office. The successful candidate will ensure that all inmate and administrative records are managed securely, accurately, and in compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Seven years of experience in offender records analysis, offender classification, offender pre-classification, security, or social services or as a probation or parole officer; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in offender records analysis, offender classification, offender pre-classification, probation and parole, security, or social services; OR A bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience in offender records analysis, offender classification, offender pre-classification, probation and parole, security, or social services; OR An advanced degree in a social science or social work or a juris doctorate plus three years of experience in offender records analysis, offender classification, offender pre-classification, probation and parole, security, or social services.
  • Two years of the required experience in the following minimum qualifications must have been in offender records analysis, offender classification, or offender pre-classification
  • Strong knowledge of policy and applicable legislation
  • Communication and computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain inmate and institutional records in both electronic and paper formats
  • Supervise the Records Department
