About The Position

AIM (Assessment Intervention Management) is seeking an experienced special education professional for a contract opportunity as an ARD Facilitator. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
  • Valid Texas certification in Special Education and content area
  • Experience in a special education classroom setting
  • Must pass a background check clearing you to work in public school settings

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and facilitate ARD committee meetings, including staffings, documentation, and scheduling
  • Use district technology applications to manage the ARD process efficiently
  • Finalize and distribute ARD documentation (ARDs, FIEs) in a timely, compliant manner
  • Maintain confidential student records and campus folders in accordance with district requirements
  • Facilitate communication between general and special education staff on all IEP elements — goals, accommodations, and behavior intervention plans
  • Support compliance with state assessment requirements
  • Encourage and support parent participation in ARD meetings
  • Consult with parents and school personnel regarding students' academic, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Compile reports and documentation as requested by district special education leadership
  • Support campus special education teams with guidance on policies and procedures
