About The Position

Morris Adjmi Architects (MA) is seeking enthusiastic design students or recent graduates for an Architecture Intern position. This role offers immersion in the design process and hands-on experience supporting active projects across all phases. Interns will work closely with project teams on drawings, models, presentations, and research. This is a full-time, cohort-based internship designed for long-term engagement, providing meaningful exposure to real-world architectural practice and the operations that support it. The ideal intern is curious, collaborative, and committed to learning, comfortable juggling creative assignments with practical responsibilities, open to feedback, and eager to explore all facets of architecture, from concept design to technical execution.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a professional program in Architecture
  • Strong design sensibility and curiosity about the built environment.
  • Proficiency in design and visualization software (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay detail-oriented, and meet deadlines.

  • Balance creative and technical tasks with operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of client presentations, including diagrams, drawings, models, and renderings.
  • Support drafting, modeling, and design documentation under supervision.
  • Contribute to design development through precedent research and image sourcing.
  • Participate in project meetings and design reviews as part of active project teams.
  • Observe coordination with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Gain exposure to the relationship between design intent and technical execution.
  • Support updates to drawings based on team redlines and feedback.
  • Gain familiarity with project milestones, schedules, and internal workflows.
  • Join scheduled site visits to NYC projects for exposure to construction and client interaction.
