About The Position
STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Architecture Intern for Summer 2027. The internship provides undergraduate and graduate-level candidates an opportunity to work alongside an experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week in the office. Preference will be given to candidates who can participate for at least three months. The position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Rhino, 3-D Max, or Sketch-up.
- LEED Accreditation.
- Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction management industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the initial design phase and contribute to detailed architectural design work in collaboration with disciplines, clients, and consultants.
- Support preparation of architectural plans under the supervision of senior architects.
- Assist with analysis of design and construction systems, planning studies, design layouts, and construction details.
- Participate in site and construction inspections to gather information and assist in preparing interpretive reports.
- Assist with code analysis, material selections, and technical solutions.
- Research, compile, and record information for assigned projects to support analysis of design and construction systems, layouts, and construction features.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to support project integration and cohesion.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing project work under supervision.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support project goals and team objectives.
