About The Position

Bedrock’s Summer 2027 internship program provides emerging professionals with hands-on experience on an assigned team or business area, opportunities to collaborate, build real-world skills, explore career paths, contribute to projects, and receive mentorship. Bedrock is a full-cycle real estate and development company focused on bringing vibrant and sustainable urban cores to life.

The Architecture & Design team supports Bedrock developments, including ground-up construction, redevelopment, capital improvements, and tenant fit-outs across its Detroit and Cleveland portfolio. The team works with internal project teams and external design firms to ensure design solutions align with Bedrock’s vision, project goals, and long-term portfolio strategy.

The internship runs from June 1, 2027, through August 5, 2027. Interns work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, fully on-site at offices and properties in downtown Detroit, Michigan. Compensation is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Entering junior year or higher in fall 2027.
• Pursuing a degree related to the team or business area indicated in the personal essay.
• Ability to perform tasks within established procedures.
• Ability to think critically and problem-solve at a basic level.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Submit a personal essay of no more than 500 words by 5:00 PM EST on November 11, 2026, explaining why the applicant is applying and what they hope to gain.
