About The Position

EXP is seeking an innovative and experienced Project Manager/Architect to join their Aviation, Transit and Commercial Buildings team within the Buildings Sector, based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves managing the design, production, and coordination of projects both locally in Georgia and nationwide. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between clients and EXP project teams, including subconsultants, and will be responsible for negotiating fees, schedules, and contract terms. Key aspects of the role include ensuring project performance within financial and schedule parameters, exceeding client expectations, and participating in business development activities such as market research, client meetings, proposal assistance, and selection interviews.

Requirements

Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture
Must possess Architectural License
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with the tasks identified above
Track record of exceptional performance
Experience in a variety of project market sectors, including Aviation, Rail + Transit, Federal Government, and Higher Education
Thorough working understanding of the Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit capabilities
Ability to utilize financial management software
Ability for occasional travel

Responsibilities

Managing the design, production, and coordination of projects for projects local to Georgia and nation-wide.
Serving as the primary liaison between clients and EXP project teams, including subconsultants.
Understanding and negotiating appropriate fees, schedule, and contract terms that are acceptable to the client and beneficial to EXP.
Being responsible and accountable for project performance, including delivering projects within financial and schedule parameters, and for exceeding client expectations.
Participating in business development through market research, meeting with clients, assisting with marketing proposals, and participating in selection interviews.
