We are seeking a Job Captain to support our integrated team through strong technical execution, coordination, and ownership of project documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, motivated to grow, and can contribute meaningfully to both design and construction processes while continuing to develop their leadership and technical skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor"s or master"s degree in architecture from an accredited school
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in Revit with the ability to produce and coordinate contract documents
  • Working knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and building systems
  • Basic understanding of building codes and permitting processes
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal direction
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow within an integrated design-build environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the production and coordination of project drawing sets across all phases.
  • Develop and manage the Revit model to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals.
  • Coordinate with consultants and internal team members to resolve design and documentation challenges.
  • Support project execution by maintaining organized project files and managing day-to-day documentation tasks.
  • Participate in and support Construction Administration efforts, including submittal review and field coordination.
  • Conduct project-specific code research and apply findings to design and documentation.
  • Prepare graphics, renderings, and materials for client and internal presentations.
  • Organize and participate in project meetings, document meeting minutes and action items.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field staff to address constructability and coordination issues.
