You’ll be at the heart of bringing designs to life—transforming sketches and plans into detailed, production-ready drawings that make projects happen.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Design, Drafting, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience that shows your skills
  • 1–3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks—you know your way around creating detailed architectural and fabrication drawings
  • Solid math skills (because great design and precision go hand in hand!)
  • Confident with computers and Windows-based software
  • Excellent communication skills—you’re comfortable collaborating with team members across all levels
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and transform them into accurate, detailed drawings
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and jumping into work started by others
  • Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including: Cutting methods (laser, punch), Bend deductions and calculations, Brake press tooling and basic operation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating installation and fabrication drawings for the commercial architectural industry
  • Additional experience with SolidWorks CAD software
  • A knack for learning new software quickly
  • Hands-on experience in construction, building, metal fabrication, or manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Dive into architectural manufacturing metal product blueprints and bring them to life through accurate installation and construction drawings
  • Translate design concepts into fully detailed fabrication drawing packages (plus all the supporting documentation)
  • Collaborate with architectural designers and customers to move projects from initial ideas to finished products
  • Partner with Engineering and Production to ensure everything is built exactly as intended
  • Lead and coordinate projects from start to finish—working closely with Customer Service, Engineering, and Sales to keep everything running smoothly
