About The Position
VHB is seeking an on-call Architectural Historian Intern to join our Atlanta, GA team. Key responsibilities include conducting field surveys for historic properties and preparing technical reports regarding historic properties in support of transportation, planning, and land development projects.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree in Architectural History or closely related discipline
- Proficiency in MS Office suite is preferred
- Experience with GIS software is preferred
- A valid US driver’s license

- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail-orientated with the ability to effectively convey technical information
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently with guidance
- Excellent research, writing, editing, and photography abilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct cultural resource identification and evaluation surveys for public and private sector clients under the guidance of an experienced historian
