Brockington and Associates is seeking an entry-level architectural historian and project manager based in our Atlanta, GA office for architectural history and archival project work throughout the US. Requirements

  • MA/MHP/MS in architectural history, historic preservation, history, archaeology, or a closely related field
  • Up to 1 or 2 years of practical experience
  • Ability to work as a member of a diverse team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work professionally with clients and government agencies
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis

Nice To Haves

  • Cross-training in archaeology
  • Interest in both architectural history and archaeology

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fieldwork - including historic resource surveys and evaluations
  • Prepare National Register nominations
  • Conduct archival research using primary and secondary resources
  • Effectively discuss projects with colleagues and clients
  • Manage budgets and schedules
  • Write professional technical reports and publications
  • Work as a member of a diverse team
  • Manage projects and people
  • Complete other delegated project tasks
