Our Forensic practice investigates problems in the built environment and provides evidence-based solutions founded on rigorous science and physics. We assist attorneys, property managers, building owners, contractors, manufacturers, and design professionals with a wide range of engineering and architectural issues. As an Architect ural Designer in our Forensics Practice, you will evaluate building envelopes and architectural systems, diagnose failures or performance issues, and support the development of remediation strategies. You will contribute to forensic investigations, technical reporting, and litigation support in a collaborative environment. With support from your team, you will work on projects in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, ideal for architects eager to grow their technical and creative skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Familiarity with building envelope design principles and forensic investigation techniques.
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow through feedback.
• A detail-oriented approach with the ability to apply fundamental engineering concepts and check your work with care and curiosity.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s or PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and performance investigations of building envelopes and architectural systems for damaged or distressed facilities.
• Prepare clear, detailed reports and visual documentation for technical and legal audiences.
• Participate in site inspections, field testing and evidence collection.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and legal teams to deliver accurate findings.
