About The Position

We are currently hiring a Project Designer in our K-12 Studio under the Architectural division at our growing and energetic Rochester, NY office. The Architectural Division at LaBella provides comprehensive planning and design within dedicated studios with projects ranging from targeted renovations and facility maintenance to projects that define communities. We believe architecture is more than creating, maintaining, and resurrecting the buildings in which we live, work, learn, and engage - it's about beautifying and bettering the communities we call home.

Requirements

5 to 10 years of experience working for an Architectural/Engineering firm
Proficient in Revit
Bachelors/Master's degree in architecture
Knowledge of NYS Codes
Knowledge of NYS SED Facilities Planning and K-12 project
Ability to work as a part of a team
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

Licensure preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Developing construction drawings and specifications for issuance to the Project Manager/Architect for review.
Performing construction administration.
Understanding and implementing applicable building codes into the design.
Being self-motivated with the willingness to learn, train, and continue building architectural knowledge.
Possessing excellent collaboration skills and contributing to a positive work environment.
Being trustworthy and punctual.
Possessing leadership and communication skills.
