Bermello Ajamil, a Woolpert Company (BA), is hiring an Architectural Designer to join our dynamic Architecture team at our Coral Gables, FL office. Ideal candidates should be able to apply sound and diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices on a broad array of assignments and building types and translate conceptual ideas into detailed plans and specifications. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in Architecture
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture; Master’s Degree a plus
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT
  • Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be self-motivated to meet deadlines and improve process and deliverables.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Sketchup preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform architectural assignments under general supervision.
  • Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations.
  • Create and modify architectural project drawings.
  • Work on design and drafting assignments including site plans, floor plans, elevations, and sections required.
  • Prepare graphics, presentations, contract drawings, and regulatory submissions.
  • Organize and maintain project record information and drawings.
  • Coordinate with clients, project consultants, and engineers.
  • Write reports and specifications required.
