About The Position
We are looking for an Architectural Designer to join our Scottsdale studio. Working under the guidance of an Architectural Project Manager, this role is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate design and construction drawings that align with project vision, meet Story's design standards, and are delivered on schedule — a great fit for someone who wants hands-on exposure to high-end residential projects in a collaborative design-build environment.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Drafting, Architecture, or related field
- Proficiency in Revit
- 1–3 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably in high-end residential projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise, accurate drawings
Nice To Haves
- Revit certification preferred
- familiarity with AutoCAD a plus
- Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and permitting requirements is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings in Revit that meet project requirements and company design standards
- Incorporate redlines from the Architectural PM (and Studio Director when applicable) accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate drawing sets with other disciplines (structural, MEP, interiors) to avoid design conflicts
- Perform quality control checks on drawings for design intent, code compliance, and technical accuracy
- Assist in preparing drawings for internal and external design reviews
- Maintain organized, accurate digital drawing files for all assigned projects
