About The Position
A well-established local architectural firm specializing in retail is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer with 5+ years of experience to assist on a variety of retail projects, including Big Box stores, Retail Centers, and Strip Malls. This is a full-time permanent position with benefits.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 5+ years of experience in Architectural Design and Drafting for Retail projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience doing production work: red lining, layout, BOM's, Ceiling & Floor Plans, Elevations
- Ability to follow direction from Architects & Team Leaders
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a Green Card work permit
Nice To Haves
- Revit experience is a plus
- Previous experience doing drafting work for gymnasiums is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist on a variety of retail projects, including Big Box, Retail Centers, and Strip Malls.
- Perform production work, including red lining, layout, Bill of Materials (BOMs), ceiling and floor plans, and elevations.
- Follow direction from Architects and Team Leaders.
