About The Position

The Architectural Designer - Tool Install will be responsible for working with a tool install design team on projects. This role involves developing tool install designs from the Concept Phase through Construction Documents, ensuring adherence to quality control processes and project requirements. The designer will prepare architectural sheets, analyze equipment layouts for clearances and pathways, incorporate review comments, and perform field walks and verifications. Additionally, the role contributes to a knowledge center by documenting lessons learned, supports on-site project execution as a technical consultant, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure integrated deliverables.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Architectural Design or related field required
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Experience in working as part of a team on small to medium projects
  • Advanced skill in Revit, AutoCad, and Bluebeam

Responsibilities

  • Works with a team of engineers and/or designers to create and document designs fulfilling the project design scope consistent with industry-accepted practice as well as client-preferred standards.
  • Develops tool install designs from Concept Phase through Construction Documents.
  • Responsible for following the quality control process and meeting all project quality requirements.
  • Prepares architectural sheets including dimensioned equipment layouts and elevations.
  • Analyze equipment layouts for clearances issues, walkways, and MIMO paths
  • Incorporating review comments into drawings
  • Performing field walks and field verifications
  • Contributes to the Tool Install Knowledge Center via documenting lessons learned.
  • Supports project on-site execution and make decisions to support projects and act as technical consultant
  • Coordinates with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring other disciplines’ inputs are incorporated
