About The Position

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Architectural Design Coordinator to support the design and planning of electric vehicle (EV) operations facilities. These facilities support daily vehicle operations and include infrastructure for charging, servicing, and general support functions. This role will focus primarily on architectural drawing production, BIM modeling, visualization, and supporting the Project Architect throughout the early-stage design process. The ideal candidate is a strong Revit user with architectural design and documentation experience who can translate design direction into accurate, coordinated deliverables while working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or Architectural Engineering.
  • 3+ years of architectural experience
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Bluebeam.
  • Experience producing architectural drawings and BIM models.
  • Understanding of architectural design, building systems, and construction documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EV, automotive, industrial, mission-critical, or prototype facility design.
  • Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles and energy-efficient design strategies.
  • Experience with Google Workspace
  • Experience with Miro

Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural drawings, studies, and design documentation for schematic design and early-stage project development.
  • Produce site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, diagrams, and other deliverables under the direction of the Project Architect.
  • Support space planning, test fits, site layouts and facility planning studies.
  • Translate design concepts and project requirements into accurate drawing deliverables.
  • Incorporate project and client feedback into drawings and models.
  • Adapt established design standards and prototypes to individual project requirements across the EV portfolio.
  • Create and maintain accurate Revit models throughout the design process.
  • Develop 3D views, diagrams, and other visual materials to communicate design.
  • Maintain consistency between the Revit models and drawing documentation.
  • Develop and utilize Revit families, components and standardized content.
  • Identify potential modeling or coordination issues and communicate them to the Project Architect.
  • Support efficient and repeatable BIM and design production workflows across multiple projects.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Benefits

  • The salary range for this full-time role is $100K-$130K per year.
