About The Position

We are a passionate team of skilled professional engineers, architects, technologists, and creative thinkers bringing innovative solutions to building projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to work alongside our team of professionals. We offer the opportunity to grow professionally and work on exciting building projects across Canada. This is an immediate need.

Requirements

• A graduated Technician or Technologist with educational focus in Architectural and Building Technologies (experience in Civil, Mechanical and Structural disciplines is an asset).
• Experience using Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD LT, Sketchup, Excel, Word, etc.
• Knowledge of Parts 3 and/or 9 of the Building Code.
• Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).
• Ability to read and interpret building design drawings (drafting skills are an asset).
• Team oriented and able to work individually.
• Hold a valid BC Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

• experience in Civil, Mechanical and Structural disciplines is an asset
• drafting skills are an asset

Responsibilities

• Review of design drawings, shop drawings, etc. for Building Code Compliance
• Prepare Code compliance drawings, reports, letters, alternative solutions, etc.
• Conduct site reviews and prepare field review reports.
• Attend meetings, presentations, occupancy demonstrations, etc.
