About The Position

Altera Digital Health Professional Services Architect Remote Role – US Altera Digital Health supports hospitals and healthcare organizations through technology solutions designed to improve patient care and operational efficiency. The Paragon platform is widely used by community hospitals across the U.S., helping clinical and operational teams manage patient information, reporting, workflows, and day-to-day hospital operations. This role sits within the Professional Services team, partnering directly with clients to deliver reporting, data, and system solutions that help hospitals get the most value from the Paragon platform.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience developing SQL Server data extracts, SSRS reports and Power BI reports/dashboards
Strong written, oral, and presentation skills for audience appropriate delivery (i.e. executive, clinician, project team levels)
Proven ability to quickly assume ownership and operate independently in a new role
Strong guidance and direction on change initiatives
Ability to contribute to complex, workflow reengineering projects and/or management process projects, including outstanding analytical and communication skills
Ability to create and communicate value propositions with sales, clients, and delivery teams
Proactively seeks and incorporates feedback to drive continuous improvement
Demonstrate proficiency in preparing deliverables and engaging effectively with project teams and clients
Demonstrate adaptability and effectiveness in ambiguous or evolving environments

Nice To Haves

Experience with Altera Paragon EHR
Bachelor's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

Delivers data extracts, SSRS reports, Power BI reports/dashboards and data conversion services to Altera clients in accordance with contracted projects.
Leverages in-depth product knowledge to align client solutions with Altera’s best practices.
Scopes contracted hours for client requests based on specifications provided.
Creates SQL data extracts, SSRS reports, Power Builder reports/dashboards.
Converts client-supplied data into the Paragon database per the conversion guide.
Performs database updates in both TEST and Production environments with the ability to disable and enable table triggers.
Creates SQL Server Agent jobs, BCP out and Powershell.
Independently executes all tasks associated with a contracted project role within a defined domain, functional, or specialty area, both remotely and on-site.
Facilitates the definition and management of client expectations by asking targeted questions and guiding discussions throughout the project life cycle.
Builds client trust through clear, proactive communication; develops and presents recommendations aligned with client objectives.
Participates in strategic planning engagements, owning assigned deliverables as directed by the engagement lead.
Completes all workplan tasks in accordance with the contracted project scope.
Delivers workflow guidance aligned with Altera’s best practice recommendations.
Identifies, resolves, or appropriately escalates system and workflow issues throughout implementation.
Provides project activation support.
Offers ongoing insights, guidance, and updates to mitigate risk across the engagement life cycle.
Scopes client requests to support contract development.
Forecasts future work for management purposes.
Identifies opportunities for additional consulting services with new and existing clients.
Produces required reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Provides feedback to internal teams to support continuous improvement of software and methodology.
Documents solutions and resolutions for knowledge sharing across the Altera team.
Leverages AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.
