This job is responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution aligned to the enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices. Key responsibilities include describing the solution intent/associated operating environment, evaluating system impacts, determining the primary systems/sub-systems and their interfaces, and assisting with end-to-end solution design. Job expectations include defining non-functional requirements/architectural runway to support new epics/features and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose by working with stakeholders and service providers. Enterprise Architect to support the Global Markets domains (all functions in Global Markets i.e. Equities, FICC, Prime Brokerage, Research, Capital Markets and Operations) within the Bank of America. The primary responsibilities will be to develop, institute, socialize and govern architecture strategies / blueprints and related frameworks. The role will also be engaged in architecting and designing comprehensive end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements in support of a given portfolio of work and support the authoring of high level designs when required. Broad understanding of Global Markets domain, as well as good understanding of various technologies is required for this role. Person should have excellent communication, analytical and influential skills to be successful in the role The candidate will be expected to govern a broad portfolio and be a key influencer of strategic technology spend.
