About The Position

The Client is seeking a part-time experienced architect with project management and business analysis skills to assess functionality of ~20 custom applications and research options for replacing each. Applications are primarily in C# with SQL backend. This role requires working directly with business users and subject matter experts and requires excellent verbal and written communications skills. This role requires excellent workshop facilitation, communications and documentation skills. Also, this role will direct the work of a business analyst.

Requirements

4 year college degree or equivalent technical study

Responsibilities

Analyze, determine, and document functional requirements.
Provide definition on how the applications will support business requirements.
Provide detailed definition on how the applications will support business requirements.
Coordinate the design and development of work estimates and act as the primary point of contact.
Assist in managing and directing application pro.
Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems.
Work with client to identify direction of software.
Ensure business requirements are supported by the software.
Understand specific business needs and overall business strategy of the business customer.
Ensure that overall application designs remain within project scope.
Provide standard, well-structured work planning which defines scope, resources, commitments, quality, risk, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
Guide processes for business analysts and direct work planning and design activities.
Work with customer business units to understand their business processes.
Work with customer business units and client to identify direction of software. Ensure business requirements are supported by the software.
Ensure goals for Functional Architects are being met and manage team commitments.
Analyze, define, and document how the applications will support functional and business requirements. Coordinate these efforts with Functional Architect
Research options to replace custom applications and propose solutions to leadership.
Develop business documentation and presentations.
Present recommendations to leaders and executives
