About The Position

As a Project Architect or Design Technician, you’ll help bring ambitious ideas to life, guiding projects from early planning and design through technical documentation and implementation. Working as part of an integrated architecture and engineering team, you’ll collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams to develop innovative, well-coordinated solutions that balance creativity, performance, and constructability. You will translate client operational needs and technical requirements into clear, coordinated architectural solutions, leading the development of presentations, design documentation, and digital models. This role includes leading efforts such as multidisciplinary coordination, maintaining quality and consistency across project deliverables, and resolving technical challenges as they arise. We’re seeking a proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys tackling complex challenges with a combination of technical expertise, critical thinking and design sensibility.

Requirements

• NAAB-accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Current architectural license/registration
• 8+ years of progressive professional architectural experience
• Advanced knowledge of construction materials, standards and codes required
• Revit proficiency required
• Communicates clearly and concisely; both orally and in writing
• Works effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Completes tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail
• Consistently meets deadlines, completing tasks as previously defined
• Works with integrity, trust and commitment, setting an example for others
• Ability to travel as needed
• Effectively works on platforms, including programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office suite
• Core and shell design experience required
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership to lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery
• Collaborate with senior leadership to lead project teams, reviewing work to maintain standards and provide guidance
• Operate independently with sound judgment while escalating issues as appropriate
• Independently prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and BIM models across multiple project phases
• Contribute to the development of schematic design and design development concepts in collaboration with project leadership
• Review work for compliance with project requirements, building codes, and quality standards
• Coordinate architectural scope with engineering consultants and other disciplines
• Prepare and review construction documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and constructability
• Perform code analysis and support permitting and regulatory review processes
• Develop and refine construction cost estimates in collaboration with senior leadership and project teams
• Lead construction administration activities on small to medium projects, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and change orders
• Conduct site observations, prepare field reports, and support resolution of construction issues
• Review and mentor junior team members by providing clear direction and constructive feedback
• Maintain and develop internal and external client relationships
• May have supervisory responsibilities, including training, assigning and directing work, reviewing performance, rewarding and disciplining team members, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
• Other duties as assigned
