About The Position

Gabriel Builders is seeking an experienced Architect with a proven talent for creating beautiful and thoughtful custom residential home designs. As a luxury, high-end custom home builder serving the Greenville, Lake Keowee, and Asheville areas, as well as all seven Cliffs Communities, we specialize in multi-million dollar, award-winning homes recognized at both state and national levels. Our commitment to detail, craftsmanship, and care is evident in every handcrafted home we build. This client-facing role is crucial to our firm. The ideal candidate will possess excellent listening skills and an exceptional ability to produce creative, accurate, efficient, and timely luxury designs. You will be responsible for leading all project phases, from initial conceptual design research and presentation, through schematic design development, to the creation of meticulously detailed construction sets. Beyond design, you will actively participate in the construction phase, conducting site visits, reviewing shop drawings, and responding to Project Manager questions, inquiries, and RFIs.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited professional Architectural Degree program.
• 5 years of architectural experience in architectural design and construction drawings.
• Demonstrated understanding of different architectural styles.
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in luxury residential design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suites (Photoshop, Bridge, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Proficiency in Sketchup.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of projects, including conceptual design research and presentation.
• Develop schematic designs based on client concepts.
• Produce meticulously detailed construction sets.
• Assist in the construction phase with site visits.
• Review shop drawings.
• Respond to Project Manager questions, inquiries, and RFIs.
