About The Position

This role is well suited for Microsoft 365 professionals seeking to expand their expertise and transition into an architectural capacity, working under the mentorship of senior architects, adopting industry best practices, and contributing to the development of modern, AI-driven workplace solutions. This role provides comprehensive experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, enterprise collaboration design, governance, and practical client engagement. It also establishes a clear progression path toward Architect II and senior architecture positions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft 365 in a technical, engineering, or administrative role.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, governance, and security fundamentals.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online (site creation, information architecture, content management)
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams (configuration, lifecycle management, collaboration design)
  • Experience with OneDrive for Business (sync, sharing, and storage controls).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, including enablement, readiness, and governance concepts.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and/or Microsoft Purview.
  • Awareness of compliance, data protection, and information governance concepts in M365.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort collaborating within cross-functional teams and working under mentorship.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to grow as a Modern Workplace architect.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and documentation of Microsoft 365 solutions, including M365 Copilot, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical designs with guidance from senior architects.
  • Assist with configuration, customization, migration, and deployment of M365 workloads across client and internal environments.
  • Partner with IT, security, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with governance, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Contribute to architecture diagrams, governance models, and user adoption or enablement materials.
  • Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and project kickoffs as a technical contributor.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 workloads and integrations.
  • Stay current with the Microsoft 365 roadmap, new features, and evolving best practices—especially in AI and Copilot enablement.
  • Continuously build technical depth while developing architectural thinking and consulting skills.
