The purpose of this role is to manage relationships with professional consultants, specifiers architects, and engineers who specify products for security systems. This is a strategic business development role to maintain & develop the A&E program in Central and Western Canada (Ontario to the West Coast).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a technical training role preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking Engineering or Information Systems strongly preferred
  • Axis Certified Professional (ACP) certification
  • ASIS Associate Protection Professional (APP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage business relationships with the Architects and Engineers (A&E) Program members
  • Work with the Regional Sales Managers to provide excellent customer service to Program members
  • Work with your Canadian A&E Manager counterpart to develop and implement a national business
  • Build the network of A&E Program members by leveraging programs and outreach initiatives driven from the organization
  • Serve as a technical liaison between Axis Communications and the A&E Program members
  • Work cohesively with Sweden and Americas HQ regarding program initiatives and providing recommendations for improvement
  • Support security specifiers by traveling to job sites, offices and security conferences/shows to maintain relationships with security firms
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of annual A&E Program event
  • Participate in strategic and partners events with ecosystem and technology partners
  • Develop and maintain database of A&E Program members and project opportunities within region using Salesforce
  • Consistently create opportunities for the program’s growth through training, education and business relationship management strategy for the A&E community
  • Leverage Axis tools such as AXIS Site Designer and Autodesk plugins to increase Axis mindshare and specification of security projects within the A&E community
  • Develop monthly and quarterly reports for the Canadian and Global A&E management teams.
  • Travel both nationally and internationally on short notice
