About The Position

As a DevOps Architect, you will implement DevOps solutions in Azure in a technical, consultative, and client-facing role. You will be accountable for client solution development, delivery, and support. The ideal candidate has consulting experience and a track record of successful technical implementations and project work. The role involves collaborating with teams to create and deliver cloud solutions for clients, participating in technical envisioning, design, and project delivery, and leading consultants in the design and deployment of client workloads into Azure.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps and/or software development and IT operations.
• At least 3 years of project experience migrating and deploying cloud-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery in Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS).
• Experience with Azure DevOps Boards, Git administration, build and release pipelines, test plans, and artifacts.
• Experience with cloud deployment methodologies.
• Automation experience and very good scripting knowledge in one or more of PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy, or similar languages; experience may be from any public cloud.
• At least 1 year implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure and topologies, or demonstrated experience with AWS or GCP.
• Understanding of the cloud ecosystem and emerging cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a virtual project team.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.
• Microsoft certification.

Responsibilities

• Help craft and deliver cloud solutions for clients.
• Participate in technical envisioning, technical design, and delivery of assigned projects.
• Implement designed solutions as client deliverables.
• Lead consultants in designing and deploying client workloads into Azure.
• Provide technical expertise and support in datacenter transformation, Azure infrastructure, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
