About The Position

Seeking an Architect cum Technical Lead (hands-on) with 12+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular. Microservices, AWS and AI skills to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native backend services and APIs. This role involves designing and developing robust backend services using Java with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. Utilizing AWS services to build and manage scalable and secure RESTful APIs. Implementing microservices architecture to support modular and maintainable applications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including DevOps and front-end developers to deliver integrated solutions. Ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security compliance. Participating in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications leveraging Java, AWS and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot backend issues effectively.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Engage with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Ensure security standards and compliance are met in all development activities.
• Experience in designing and implementing AI/Gen AI based use cases using the leading AI models/services (e.g. Claude, gpt, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, etc.).
