About The Position

Specialist Resources Global, Inc. is seeking an Architect, A-L3: Digital Engineering. This role involves understanding technological directions for architecting software applications, assessing business needs, and providing architectural and technology guidance and roadmaps for application and systems development. The position requires assessing legacy applications and technologies, providing solutions for remediation, and strategizing to re-engineer legacy components for maintenance, platform reengineering, and technology remediation. The architect will also establish best practices, guidelines, and global standards for application development, act as a liaison between stakeholders to resolve technical challenges, and research and implement tools for technical quality and productivity improvements. Additionally, the role involves researching and implementing Proofs of Concept (POCs) to identify technical options, assessing and resolving technical debt in applications, defining non-functional requirements, and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on business case studies.

Requirements

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.
Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position.

Responsibilities

Understand technological directions for architecting software applications.
Assess business needs and provide architectural and technology guidance/roadmap towards application/systems development.
Assess legacy applications/technologies and provide architectural and technology solutions for application remediation.
Strategize, re-engineer, and architect legacy components for application maintenance, platform reengineering, and technologies remediation.
Review and establish best practices, guidelines, and global standards for application development.
Act as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure timely closure of technical challenges and adherence to standards.
Research, recommend, and implement tools and initiatives for technical quality and productivity improvements.
Research and implement POCs to identify technical options/solutions.
Assess technical debt in applications and provide recommendations/resolutions for reduction.
Define non-functional requirements for applications and ensure adherence through reviews and feedback.
Collaborate with organization’s SMEs and contribute towards solutions for business case studies.
