The Archaeologist position will provide cultural resource field and technical writing support for public agency, utility, and land development/management clients based out of southern California. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fieldwork and technical writing, and an interest in growing these skills in a collaborative team environment. The Archaeologist position will provide cultural resource program support for major utility companies in California, as well as a variety of other projects for public agencies. Will involve a combination of fieldwork coordinating environmental reviews, staffing field projects, authoring or overseeing preparation of cultural resources reports, obtaining and maintaining agency cultural resources permitting, and acting as POC for client cultural resources staff and subconsultants. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fieldwork and technical writing, working knowledge of Section 106, NEPA and CEQA, and an interest in growing these skills in a collaborative team environment. Position can be based out of ICF’s Los Angeles, Irvine or San Diego offices with the option to work remote or hybrid from office and home.
