About The Position

The Arcade Technician assists all aspects of Uncle Buck’s Fishbowl including but not limited to bowling, bumper cars, ropes course, go card track, arcade and other activities. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the areas overseen provide our guests with a safe and enjoyable experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Able to safely work from a ladder
Able to use common hand tools SAE and Metric
Familiar with multi-meter, electrical parts, hand tools and soldering irons
Follow instructions and work well with others, also work well unsupervised
Strong mechanical skills and some electronics knowledge
Possess good communication skills as they will be interacting with guest and their families
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or employees of organization
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Works well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction

Responsibilities

Cleans and maintains bowling alley, machines, and equipment per manufactures recommendations.
Cleans and maintains arcade fixtures and equipment.
Cleans and maintains bumper car equipment per manufactures recommendations.
Cleans and maintains any other equipment as necessary.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components.
Performs preventative maintenance and general building maintenance.
Maintains and performs daily, weekly, monthly checklists for maintenance and repair.
Reports and maintains equipment defects for proper warranty repair and handling.
