About The Position

Responsible for overseeing all evening and late-night operations to ensure a safe, energetic, and smoothly run arcade environment. This role serves as the Manager on Duty (MOD) throughout each assigned shift, is responsible for staff leadership, guest satisfaction, cash handling, facility oversight, and incident management during peak and after-hours operations.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Inventory management and basic financial tracking experience
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Active, hands-on MOD role requiring continuous floor presence
  • Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent education
  • Demonstrated ability to act as sole MOD when assigned

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in arcade, entertainment, hospitality or retail management preferred
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) for the full duration of scheduled shift
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and coach arcade staff
  • Manage all nightly arcade operations, ensuring games, attractions, and common areas are clean, functional, and welcoming
  • Monitor guest flow, crowd behavior, and floor activity to maintain a fun and safe atmosphere
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary
  • Ensure all safety procedures, policies, and emergency protocols are followed
  • Actively lead the floor as MOD during peak and non-peak hours
  • Supervise night-shift employees including arcade attendants, party hosts, cashiers, and security (if applicable)
  • Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide real-time coaching
  • Address attendance, conduct, and performance issues according to company policy
  • Serve as the point of authority during night operations
  • Oversee cash drawers, card systems, and game revenue during night shift.
  • Ensure accurate end-of-night cash counts, deposits, and reports
  • Investigate and document discrepancies or irregularities
  • Ensure arcade games and equipment are operating properly; report or escalate technical issues to Arcade Technicians and Operations Manager
  • Coordinate minor troubleshooting and communicate repair needs to maintenance teams
  • Conduct nightly walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance
  • Handle guest incidents, disputes, and behavioral issues calmly and professionally
  • Enforce rules related to conduct, age restrictions, and closing procedures
  • Document incidents and communicate details to upper management
  • Oversee nightly closing procedures, including staff checkout, facility lock-up, and alarm systems
  • Ensure the arcade is secured and ready for the next business day
  • Submit nightly reports to management if needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Management
