About The Position

Round One Entertainment is looking to hire a part-time, non-exempt Mechanic/Technician responsible for the operations of an amusement arcade and/or bowling machines. This role involves overseeing, maintaining, and repairing these machines. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with open availability for nights and weekends preferred, though not required. The position requires the ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs. The technician must possess strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, critical and analytical thinking skills, and an appreciation for diversity. A clean and organized workshop is expected, along with maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.

Nice To Haves

  • Open availability nights and weekends preferred.
  • Two-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, maintain, and repair arcade and bowling machines.
  • Respond to customer complaints of machine malfunction and analyze the mechanism to find the root of the problem.
  • Assist the Facility manager with the installation, maintenance, and repairs of both mechanical and circuitry issues in the arcade games and/or bowling machines.
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Keep a clean and organized workshop.
  • Follow up to complete any assigned work.
  • Report all irregular issues and problems to upper management for a solution.
  • Maintain good communication with all employees and outside contacts.
  • Comply and maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area.
