About The Position

The Arcade Attendant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the building’s arcade, ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for residents and guests. This role works for a property we manage in VA beach area and combines customer service, basic technical support, and facility monitoring.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain attentive and proactive in a recreational environment
• Basic technical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Monitor arcade activities to ensure adherence to community rules and safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the arcade area, including machines, seating, and common surfaces
• Perform basic troubleshooting for arcade machines and report technical issues as needed
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report damages or maintenance needs promptly
• Enforce any instituted restrictions, occupancy limits, and behavioral expectations
• Assist with resident inquiries and provide general information about arcade use
• Open and close the arcade space in accordance with scheduled hours
• Track usage or incidents and report to management as required
