About The Position

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Senior Sales Associate to help create and sustain a pleasant work environment and excellent customer relationships. The role supports the Center’s mission of funding its rehabilitation program through the collection and resale of gently used goods. It also supports the work therapy program by modeling professional conduct and work habits and providing supervision as directed.

Requirements

• Experience in sales.
• Ability to read and interpret simple income and expense reports.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and supervisory skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management team in meeting sales, production, and expense budget goals to maintain a profitable operation.
• Assist with scheduling store personnel and completing payroll information for all staff.
• Receive applications and participate in interviews as requested.
• Train, direct, and supervise new employees.
• Ensure store personnel know and comply with policies, procedures, and government regulations.
• Ensure sales reports and other required paperwork are completed and forwarded to the finance office daily.
• Ensure the store is well stocked.
• Provide backup for the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager as needed.
• Support the work therapy program by providing beneficiaries with an example of professional conduct and work habits, and supervision as directed by the Supervisor.
