Overview: We are seeking an experienced, motivated, positive, and dependable Arborist to join our team of Resource Professionals. Our mission is to provide the highest calibre of service to meet the needs of our clients, and we are only as good as the people on our team. This position is based out of either our North Vancouver Squamish or Chilliwack office.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in urban forestry.
- Experience with utility vegetation management.
- ISA Arborist certification is required.
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driving License with experience driving 4x4 trucks and ATVs.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors; willing to work in demanding conditions.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Nice To Haves
- Tree Risk Assessment Qualification or Wildlife Danger Tree Assessor are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Preparing Arborist reports.
- Performing tree inventories.
- Performing tree tree risk assessments.
- Acting as a crew lead on field duties.
- Supporting the forestry team on various tasks as required.
- Working collaboratively with a team for product delivery to various clients.
