About The Position

As an Arborist Crew Leader, you will lead a tree care crew and perform tree care services safely and efficiently. You will help enhance the skills, performance, and productivity of team members within your office. The role includes supervising arboriculture work, maintaining and operating equipment, managing and training crew members, ensuring work meets industry and company standards, and communicating with clients. The position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and involves working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions. It is a regular full-time position.

Requirements

At least three years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry.
Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and self-motivation.
Passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.

Nice To Haves

Class B CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely perform and supervise arboriculture services, including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, and removals.
Properly maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
Bring a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to job sites.
Supervise and manage crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
Ensure each crew member is appropriately trained for designated job assignments.
Ensure tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
Communicate with clients, answer questions, and build client relationships.
