About The Position

The Arborist Crew Leader leads a tree care crew and is primarily responsible for performing and supervising tree care services safely and efficiently. The role supports the development, performance, and productivity of other team members while delivering arboricultural work in accordance with industry and company standards. The Crew Leader also communicates with clients and works under the direction of the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.

Requirements

At least three years of tree climbing experience using DdRT or SRT and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
Initiative, a positive attitude, a team-oriented approach, and self-motivation.

Nice To Haves

Class B CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely perform and supervise arboriculture services, including pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, and removals.
Properly maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
Bring a cooperative and enthusiastic attitude to the job site.
Supervise and manage crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
Ensure crew members are appropriately trained for their designated job assignments.
Ensure tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
Communicate with clients, answer their questions, and build relationships.
