This is a limited-term faculty position responsible for leading and overseeing the Certificate of Arboriculture and Urban Forestry Program. The role involves teaching a minimum of 7 credit hours per semester, including lecture and lab components. Additionally, the instructor will provide learning experiences through Extension programming, addressing client needs with non-formal learning opportunities like presentations, workshops, field trips, tours, and demonstrations. Collaboration with various departments is expected to implement the program as part of grant deliverables. The position also includes managing the internship program, ensuring compliance with industry standards (ISA Best Management Practices, ANSI-Z133), mentoring students, conducting assessments, and fulfilling administrative duties.
