About The Position
Welo Data is seeking detail-oriented, reliable individuals to support speech and voice AI systems by working with audio, speech, and language data. The role focuses on producing accurate, well-structured, and representative datasets for real-world AI systems. It requires strong judgment, attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to maintain quality across repetitive, structured workflows. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, 100% onsite W2 employee position. Remote work is not available. Candidates must be located in or able to commute to an eligible location: NYC, Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Burlingame, Los Angeles, Washington DC, or Boston. The role pays $28 per hour. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Arabic.
- Strong written communication skills and language fundamentals.
- One year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work; alternatively, a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification in a related field.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain steady output.
- Willingness to ask questions and escalate when needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
- Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior, identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
- Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag cases where they do not reflect real-world scenarios.
- Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks.
- Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
- Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
- Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
- Document findings clearly, concisely, and in an actionable way.
